Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to the Eco Van Move website and service platform. By accessing, browsing, or utilizing any portion of this website, or by engaging in a formal service agreement—including but not limited to moving services, delivery services, junk removal, or equipment rentals—you ("the Customer") hereby acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by the following terms and provisions. These terms constitute a binding contract between the Customer and Eco Van Move ("the Company") and govern all interactions within the jurisdiction of British Columbia.

1. Use and Service License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials and interface on this website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing and service booking purposes only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not modify the materials, use them for any commercial purpose, or attempt to decompile any software contained on the Eco Van Move website. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by the Company at any time. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

2. Equipment Rental and Asset Protection

Eco Van Move provides high-durability, reusable plastic moving bins and specialized 4-wheeled moving dollies for Customer use. Upon delivery of said equipment to the Customer's designated location, the Customer assumes full and absolute liability for the physical integrity and security of the assets until they are officially recovered by Company personnel. All equipment must be returned in the original condition of delivery, free of internal debris, and stacked in accordance with Company safety protocols. The Customer explicitly agrees to the following non-negotiable replacement fee schedule for lost, stolen, or damaged assets: forty dollars ($40.00) for each Large Bin (27x17x12 inches), thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for each Small Bin (21x15x9 inches), and **one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00)** for each 4-wheeled Dolly. Furthermore, any equipment retained beyond the agreed-upon rental duration without prior written authorization will incur a compounding daily late fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per individual unit until such time as the equipment is recovered by the Company.

3. Limitation of Liability and Performance Disclaimer

The materials and services provided by Eco Van Move are offered on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. While the Company employs professional standards for all small moves and deliveries, our total financial liability for any loss or damage to personal effects is strictly limited to sixty cents ($0.60) per pound per item, in accordance with standard moving industry regulations in British Columbia. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the mechanical functionality of electronics or the structural integrity of items packed by the Customer. Eco Van Move shall not be liable for damages arising from business interruption, loss of data, or inability to access premises due to environmental hazards, including but not limited to un-cleared snow, ice, or structural constraints at the pickup or delivery site.

4. Junk Removal Compliance and Indemnification

The Company’s junk removal service is restricted to non-hazardous household and commercial materials. The Customer is strictly prohibited from including hazardous waste, including but not limited to: liquid paint, chemicals, pressurized cylinders, propane, lead-acid batteries, asbestos-containing materials, or bio-medical waste. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Eco Van Move harmless against any and all legal fees, environmental fines, or specialized disposal costs resulting from the undisclosed inclusion of prohibited materials in a junk removal load. We reserve the right to refuse service if the materials presented pose a safety risk to our staff or vehicle fleet.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the resolution of any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided. If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Eco Van Move reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
